    1999 Fall Camp

From October 22 to October 24, we went to Camp Wabanna in Maryland to have a family time together, away from distractions in order to renew our consecration and gain a fresh vision of what the Lord is doing and desires to do in these days.

Below are some of our testimonies from this time.

    Testimonies

I personally enjoyed the blending of all the saints from all localities.  It is wonderful to love the Lord and express our joy with one another.  I was touched that we need to have the proper attitude towards the coming of Christ.  We all need to live a life of waiting for the Lord's return, knowing that our only hope is in the coming of the Lord.  I also enjoyed that the overcomers see the body, know the body, care for the body and honor the body.  Even though we are all individual members, we are organically joined to one another, and each one needs the function of all the others.

Praise the Lord for the Body.  What a blessing to have the one goal, and that is to overcome this life and to move closer to our destiny, which is to meet the Lord.

We can all say: Come, Lord Jesus.  Please come dear Bridegroom.  Precious one, Come soon!... Amen!

          Sister A.R.

Praise the Lord for the Fall Camp!  I was once more reminded that being a Christian is more than just being saved from eternal perdition.  To be a Christian is to live an overcoming life, relying not on our own natural ability but on the Divine Life within us who empowers us to overcome.  Oh, it is really
encouraging to know that if we live an overcoming life, our prize is the uttermost enjoyment of Christ in the millennial kingdom!  Oh, let us pursue toward the goal.  Therefore we need to enjoy the Lord for now, for what we are today will be our reward in the coming age.  We should be those who love
the Lord's appearing, eagerly await His return, call for His return and pray, "Come, Lord Jesus."  We should be watchful and ready at all times for we do not know either the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming (Matt.25:13).

    Sister A.S.

When the Lord comes, He will come secretly as a thief to those who love Him and will take them as His treasures.  I personally want to be taken by the Lord.  So we should be watchful and ready for the Lord because we never know when He is coming.

    Brother AR

The divine Romance that we have with Christ grows as we fellowship with Him on a daily basis.  Fellowshiping with Him enables us to become overcomers.  As overcomers, we then learn to possess the appropriate...  attitude that is conducive to the building of the body of Christ, which is God's economy and the union of Him with His Bride.

I came to the realization while serving at camp Wabanna that our children... force us to chip away the old man (Adam) for the building of the Body of Christ...  When dealing with them, we are compelled to continuously call on the Lord.  By calling on the Lord regularly, we establish that personal and intimate love affair that is needed to be the Bride of Christ....

I pray that the Lord will not let me stray because I need Him in my life each and every day.  Without Him, I am and can do nothing.

    Sister C.P.

In this camp I was reminded again of the Lord's need for the overcomers. Brother said that no overcomers, no church; no church, no Bride prepared for the Lord's coming back. As our loving Bridegroom our Lord is eagerly waiting for us to be ready for the wedding day. The overcomer is just one who see the
body, know the body, care for the body, and honor the body. Staying in the  church life is the best way for us to be made overcomers and prepare for the  Lord's coming back. Thank you Lord for the church life You put me in. Come,  Lord Jesus!

    Sister D.S.

I enjoyed that we should "eagerly await the Lord's return and call for His return." The more we call on the Lord to come, the more we will be prepared  for His coming. Revelation 22:20 says" ...come, Lord Jesus!" I especially  enjoyed the chorus of the new hymn: "Come, Lord Jesus, Please come, dear Bridegroom! Precious One, come soon, come soon. Lord, consume me! Oh,  Lord, don't let me stray. Faithful to You all the way."

Praise the Lord for His coming!

    Sister T.A.

I enjoyed that we should be watchful and ready for the Lord's coming. When  the Lord comes he will come as a thief comes. So we need to be the overcoming ones. We must take the Lord in daily by pray reading, singing,  reading the bible, ect. We should start our day with Him and end it with Him.
Praise the Lord we can overcome!

    Sister P.A.

Praise the Lord! I was touched very much by message #3 -" The proper attitude of the believers toward the second coming of Christ." We should love  the Lord's appearing and eagerly await the Lord's return. Our attitude can be proper only when our heart turn to the Lord, love the Lord, and give Him the
first place in every situation. We have to eat, drink, and breathe Christ continually. I thank the Lord that I had the opportunity to enjoy with the saints and blend together and had more intimate fellowship at the camp.

    Sister G.K.

Praise the Lord! Saints, I want to encourage everyone to attend the camp. I always look forward to this time of blending. I get revived, renewed, and  refreshed by the timely Word and by the rich sweet fellowship of the saints.  What touched me the most was the revelation that we should be those looking  the Lord and eagerly awaiting His appearing, which will issue in our being prepared and will hasten His return…
